Each layer of the Nexthor™ film has a precisely defined function – from a hydrophobic nano-layer that repels water and dirt, through a self-regenerating surface that eliminates minor scratches, to a base layer providing protection against impacts and UV radiation.

AquaGuard™ Hydrophilic Nano-Technology (Germany) is an ultra-thin functional layer developed and manufactured in Germany using advanced nanotechnology. It increases surface energy, allowing water to spread evenly across the surface in a thin sheet, helping to rinse away dirt and road salts more effectively. The vehicle body dries more uniformly after washing, reducing the formation of water spots and mineral deposits, while routine maintenance becomes easier and more gentle. The hydrophilic effect is designed to last for the entire 10-year warranty period, ensuring consistent performance throughout the lifetime of the film.

SelfRepair™ (USA) is an elastomeric topcoat with a unique ability for thermal reorganization of polymer chains. Minor surface damage disappears naturally under sunlight or when heated to approximately 60–80 °C, as the polymer chains in the top layer realign and smooth out. The result is a long-lasting, smooth surface free of holograms and with a minimal “orange peel” effect. No additional polishing of fine marks is required, and the surface consistently maintains a clean, premium appearance in both gloss and matte finishes.

CoreShield™ Base (USA) forms the structural foundation of the Nexthor Armor film. It is a crystal-clear aliphatic TPU substrate with a thickness of approximately 150–180 μm, imported from the USA for exceptional optical clarity, dimensional stability, and mechanical durability. This core effectively absorbs energy from stones, gravel, and everyday impacts, protecting the paint from typical damage. The combination of high elasticity and strength ensures long-term protection without the risk of yellowing or cracking. UV stabilizers and special anti-yellowing additives maintain consistent appearance and clarity for many years.

BondGrip™ (USA) is a precision-engineered acrylic PSA adhesive developed in the USA. It allows accurate repositioning during installation, yet once cured, it bonds firmly without creating lift lines or surface mapping. The high purity of the adhesive minimizes the risk of edge hazing and, when properly removed, leaves no residue behind. The adhesive layer thickness ranges from 20–25 μm, with typical 180° peel and shear values corresponding to premium PPF adhesive standards (internal testing). It is compatible with Slip/Tack solutions, features low edge tension, and offers controlled initial tack, making installation easier while ensuring a reliable and long-lasting result.
